Dockyad1 has announced a new band signed to its rooster – Day Eleven.
With their roots planted firmly in the 90s grunge rock scene, Day Eleven from Tampere, Finland now come at you with a unique sound containing shades of the energy of punk rock, the harmony from the darker side of pop mixed with a big, in-your-face blast of heavy guitars.
This five-piece started out just like many bands, as friends playing together about ten years ago, yet the band officially started out on 2003. Since then, Day Eleven have released a debut album, "Almost Over Everything", which got limited distribution in select countries. Their upcoming album, a debut in Dockard1, titled "Sleepwalkers" is scheduled to be released across Europe on September 14th 2007. The album was produced by Jens Bogren, known for his work with Katatonia, Opeth and Disco Ensemble.
